Rachel Wang FRSA
Chocolate Films Limited
Rachel Wang studied at Bristol University and the College of Law before forging a career in Corporate Finance at boutique city firm Beaumont Cornish. In 2003 she left the city to create Chocolate Films largely inspired by the lack of representation of the full black British experience on screen. She founded Chocolate Films with three key bold goals from the outset: to create high quality content for commercial clients, to develop and produce dramas and documentaries that tell the stories that are not currently heard in the media, and to enable people who are less represented in the media to learn the skills to tell their stories. Over the past 12 years she has developed Chocolate Films organically. The company now has a base in Brixton with a team of 12. Rachel is a member of Film London’s Film Hub panel and a Fellow of the RSA.
