Marcus is a technologist with over 20 years of global experience of delivering digital solutions that create shareholder value and drive positive social change.
He has a consistent track record of success, and most recently worked in Silicon Valley for Apple, where he led ecommerce solutions delivery for the company’s online business and was responsible for delivering over $100m of additional revenue in his first year through building the first Accessibility and SEO engineering team.
Previously, he ran Comic Relief’s technology function, leading the development of the systems that power the charity’s fundraising efforts, including the record-breaking Red Nose 2011, which raised over £104m.
Today, Marcus is the Digital Director for Marks and Spencer, where he is responsible for driving the company’s digital transformation and running its online business which had sales of nearly £800m in 2015/16.
