Dr Abeyna Jones
Abeyna graduated from medicine in 2006 embarking on a surgical career. Her later life changing experience spent 2 years working in rural South Africa as a trauma surgeon, fired her determination, on returning to the UK, to tackle chronic low morale within our own medical community.
Abeyna subsequently co-founded Medic Footprints, a social enterprise dedicated to enabling doctors to locate and pursue more fulfilling career opportunities. She’s since successfully established a unique & well-known disruptive brand in the community, attracting over 400 delegates to their first annual conference and celebrating a 389% increase in revenue in the last financial year.
Now an Occupational Medicine doctor, her influence is amplified further in her role as a Representative for the National School of Occupational Health, NHS Leadership Academy aluma, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Fellowship candidate, BBC Expert Voice & blogger for Huffington Post.
