Chinedum Nzelu – Global Head of Currencies & Emerging Automated Trading, J.P. Morgan
Following an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a post graduate in Computer Science, Chinedum joined the financial services industry in 2005 at a pivotal moment in the electronification of Foreign Exchange, which is the largest financial market transacting up to $5 trillion daily.
Working within the JPMorgan Fixed Income division, Chinedum has progressed through the levels to Managing Director by directly facilitating the expansion of electronic trading across multiple geographic regions and currencies. JPMorgan now ranks in the top tier across the foreign exchange industry, the majority of which is transacted by the electronic trading business.
Chinedum is responsible for the global automated trading team spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, London and New York, focused on innovating trading strategy through analytics and technology. Chinedum is an active mentor to young professionals in the industry, and is directly involved in various charity funds.
