Andrew Davis is one of the UK’s most prolific social media trainers, keynote speakers and consultants. His unique approach serves clients from multiple sectors, including KPMG, Bauer Media, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Saatchi & Saatchi, Blackberry, New Era and Land Securities.
His career spans over 13 years in digital starting as a chat room moderator (Pop Idol and Liverpool FC) and then progressing to the newly created digital radio station BBC Radio 1Xtra. He was then recruited by Myspace to help launch its UK Marketing and Content division, which included working with music acts, films and television shows (Jay Z, Beyonce, Skins and many more). In many of these roles he had to create content to engage young audiences – yet maintain a balanced and professional strategy to attract commercial clients for sponsorship opportunities.
He founded his consultancy, The Worst Kept Secret, in 2009 after launching his visionary Social Media Fundamentals’ program to international acclaim. The controversial initiative was the UK’s first ever social media course designed to improve numeracy and literacy in borderline G.C.S.E. English students.
Recently, Andrew joined the Ofcom Advisory committee for England where he ensures a strong focus on innovation, minority groups, young people and small businesses.
