James Mosha is Head of UK Tax at BNP Paribas based in London, a role he has held since 2014. Previously he was a tax manager in the same team. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, James was at Dresdner Kleinwort (Commerzbank). James trained as an accountant with Arthur Andersen from 1997 – 2001 and has a BSc degree in Economics and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
James is originally from Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and came to the UK aged 14 to attend boarding school before going on to university. James is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. As the Head of UK Tax, he is the representative of BNP Paribas for the tax committees of UK Finance (formally the BBA) and the Association of Foreign banks.
